Homes are more than just rooms that accompany one another within a certain area. Homes are spaces that we spend most of our time in. The smallest details affect when it comes to spaces, whether it is the openings, lighting, the colors, design of the furniture, or some other detail that could be felt but not physically noticed. You might enter a designer house and feel a certain aura within the space without knowing the reason behind it. The reason could be a special texture of a rug that is hung on the wall or a certain dimension of an opening in the wall that allows in the right amount of light. When it comes to amateur home preparing, we tend to head to the nearest furniture store and pick the pieces from already known collections. We might focus on the types of tables, electronic gadgets, and couch designs then, perhaps, throw in the rug that fits in with the collection in the end. What some might not know is that a rug could change the ambiance of the whole space, through aesthetical, acoustic, and sensational factors. 1-      The Classical Turkish Rug:

 The Turkish rug cannot be anything but the very first to be mentioned. The classical Turkish rug, with its beautifully hand-knotted blend of colors, has been on the top of the list for centuries. Rug picking is not an easy task for a rug is always helpful when wanting to tie the whole room together. Turkish rugs make the task easier for they are mostly breathtaking designs with colors that could fit in most spaces. The prices start at $50 and could reach to $5,000, so the price of the rug might be painful on the wallet, but it is always worth it!

2-      Rug  Layering:

 Rug layering is a sensitive style, for instead of picking one rug (which is already a hassle) you will need to pick more! Rug layering is basically finding two different rugs that vibe in an interesting contrasting way. For example, a navy small thick wool rug, over a plainly designed cotton rug would add a lot of ambiance in a living, dining, or even bedroom! Rug layering is not as complicated as it may sound, there are two simple rules; the first rule is to have the top rug smaller in size, and the second one is to let the contrast be seen!

3-      Rugs positioning:

 We are usually used to rugs under or next to the beds, in living and family rooms, and at times in hallways. What tends to go unnoticed is that there are no rules when it comes to rug places. As an example, you rarely find rugs in kitchens for obvious staining reasons. But what would be the problem if you use a cheaper type of rugs? Or perhaps, an old faded vintage piece that could act as a cushion in long meal prep sessions? Everything is possible in modern design trends if it adds comfort in any form, it is doable!
